New systems for gymnastics lessons: didactic procedures (?) in teacher training
Abstract
This essay attempts to stimulate reflections on the system of physical activities denominated “Body Systems”. The focus of this study is an analysis of the system in relation to didactic procedures for the formation of “instructors”. The theoretical framework makes use of categories from critical theory and what they contribute to widening our understanding of the phenomenon in focus here. The need for creating a forum for discussion of new tendencies within the domain of “fitness” is emphasized; it can then aid in teacher training, promoting a critical view of “new market trends”.
