As desigualdades sociais levaram ao surgimento do conceito de vulnerabilidade social e de projetos na área da educação física, do esporte e do lazer. Sem considerar a complexidade
das questões sociais e alguns conhecimentos básicos da gestão social, alguns projetos desenvolvidos nessas áreas podem ser considerados ineficientes e ineficazes. O objetivo deste ensaio é apresentar o conceito de vulnerabilidade social e alguns conceitos básicos da gestão social e refletir sobre suas utilizações na gestão de projetos relacionados à educação física, ao esporte e ao lazer.
